UK CB Kei Beckham intercepts QB Stephen Johnson’s pass during the University of Kentucky football Blue-White spring game in Lexington, KY on Friday, April 14, 2017.
LEXINGTON, Ky. — Sophomore cornerback Kei Beckham has left the Kentucky football program, a UK spokeswoman confirmed Wednesday.
Beckham, a former three-star recruit in UK’s 2015 class, appeared in one game in his UK career, the Wildcats’ blowout win over FCS Austin Peay last season. The Dayton, Ohio, native was listed as a second-team cornerback on the post-spring depth chart released in UK’s media guide this summer but has not been listed on the depth chart since the season started.
He recorded one tackle and an interception in the 2017 spring game.
