The Boston Marathon is here, and this is all you need to know about the route, road closures, how to watch online and on TV, and more.
The 21.6-mile Boston Marathon will run from Main Street in Hopkinton, Massachusetts through Boston, finishing on Boylston Street near the John Hancock Tower in Copley Square. The 122nd iteration of the race is set for Monday, April 16, and there are strong possibilities for a win from either an American man or woman this time around.
Monday’s race begins at 8:30 a.m. ET and will be broadcast by NBCSN nationally and CBS WBZ-TV in Boston locally. The Elite Women’s group will start at 9:32 a.m., with an expected finish sometime shortly after 11:50 a.m. The Elite Men’s group will start at 10 a.m., with an expected finish shortly after 12:05 p.m. ET.
Live streaming of the race can be had via fuboTV, NBC Sports, CBS Boston (locally), and more. NBC Sports will offer a simulcast of the television coverage, while NBC Sports Gold’s Track and Field package allows for viewing without commercials.
