Fox announcer Gus Johnson became a fan favorite for his epic March Madness calls during his tenure with CBS. When Johnson moved on to Fox, his time calling the NCAA tournament stopped.

But Johnson hasn’t stopped calling basketball.

He works college basketball for FS1 and Big Ten Network. He also serves as the play-by-play announcer for Fox Sports Wisconsin. And while most of the nation watched Sunday’s wild overtime-forcing sequence of Celtics-Bucks Game 1 on TNT, Johnson worked the FS Wisconsin broadcast.

Well, it was glorious. Enjoy:

When Khris Middleton knocked down a ridiculous game-tying 3 to beat the buzzer, Johnson went into full March Madness Gus Johnson Mode.

Here is an approximate transcript of the call — just because:

“Here’s Antetokounmpo … looking. Middletonnnnnn. OHHHHHHHH. AHHHHHHHHHHHHH. HE HIT IT. OHHHAHHHHHHHHHHHGHHH. Khris Middleton! What a shot!”

Never change, Gus.
