Father Prime turned back the clock for one of his best recent playoff performances.

The Heat lost Game 1 to the 76ers by 27 points. They needed a spark if they were going to even the series up against a young, hungry Sixers team.

Miami didn’t just get a spark — it got The Flash.

Dwyane Wade side-stepped clear of Ben Simmons, elevated and drilled a mid-range jump shot to extend the Heat’s lead to eight with just 45 seconds left to go in the fourth quarter. It was proof that the future Hall of Famer still has gas left in a tank that’s been running for 15 seasons, as he fueled the Heat to a 113-103 win over the 76ers on Monday night.

Wade scored 28 points in 26 minutes. Twenty-one of his points came in the first half on 8-of-9 shooting from the field, and he moved up to No. 10 on the league’s all-time leading playoff scorers list in the process.

Wade only scored seven points in the second half, but his play was timely. It helped stave off a ferocious Philly comeback that nearly completed late in the game.

Late in the third quarter he looked like the D-Wade of old, posting up Robert Covington before turning around and drilling a fadeaway over his outstretched arms.
